Hey there, my name's Christine.
I currently live in Toronto, Canada and I was born in March 26,1996.
I'm an aspiring artist and is attending Sheridan College's animation program as a first year student.
I'm a hopeful kid with a lot of big, adult dreams.
So I'm working towards those, thanks for being my witness :)

You lost an 8G USB stick at Dundas and Bay. Lots of your school assignments are on it. Contact the superintendant of 600 Bay Street to retrieve it.

Hi Christine. How have you been doing in Sheridan lately? Has things been going along smoothly?
Also, so what kinds of art works have you made over there? May I see some examples?

Good for you! Taking a year off is a really smart move. There's not need to rush things.
oh..there's people taking art fundamentals at Sheridan huh? Hm I would tell them I've gotten mixed reviews about it. There's people who have went and said it helped them with meeting people that are actually in the program they wanted to get in. But there's also people who said its a waste of time. I would consider where my money is going and what I want to accomplish with it. Art fundamentals does not aim their curriculum to the animation program. They should consider the animation portfolio workshop in Toronto also.
Congrats to the waiting list! I heard the average was pretty high this year. There's always a good chance someone will drop out.
Honestly, there's alot you can say like clean or varied lines or whatever. But in the end no matter what, you gotta have a strong drawing background. Clean lines can't support if you don't strong fundamental drawing skills. So really just practice drawing anything you see really. and then re-draw it. Observational drawing will get you far in anything. And also watch alot of movies! Either animation or live action. Just keep being inspired by film in general. Pick things that you like and make it your own. That's really important too.
Alright damn that was heap of writing.
Good luck with whatever choices you make

Stoned  NO DON'T LOOK AT MY DA I CAN EXPLAIN Aaaaaah ITS AN ABOMINATION!

well sadly none of us got in, i chose not to go foreword with the application i'ma take a year off and
i'm re-thinking a bunch of things like should i just go to college to do something with kids or do art later on in life.
and one person got on the waiting list so that's an accomplishment.
but ya most of us are bummed out and some are taking fundamentals.
but everything's all good.

also what do you think we should all put more attention to? layout? variety? super clean lines?
(since your in the program)
